Scrapbook Club - September & PPA9

This is the single page we created this month for my scrapbook club. I used the baby wipe technique on the vellum leaves (saw this on LeeAnn Greff's blog) and carried it through on the Very Vanilla cardstock.

The color combination was taken from the Autumn Meadows DSP, which can be found on page 13 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used the Big Shot Simple Serif Alphabet Dies to cut out "Fall". Thanks for looking - Have a wonderful weekend!!

September Contest Entries

Now that the contest is over, I can safely post these. I entered both items into Stampin' Up's monthly contest.

Here I stamped the background with Lovely as a Tree and mounted onto Merry Moments DSP. The ornament was punched out of red cardstock and then a second one from the Sticky Pages. I carefully layered the two and covered with Dazzling Diamonds. The sentiment is from Merry & Bright Rub-Ons.
This was for the Wow! Art File -

The flowers are from the flower folds die using More Mustard and Summer Sun with Chocolate Chip centers. The "vase" is the Fancy Favor die made from the Wood Sheets. The sheets aren't quite wide enough for the die so I cut it as big as I could and then made a second box out of More Mustard and layered the two with sticky strip. I wasn't sure if the sheets would fold without splitting the wood, but if you are careful enough and don't over handle it they hold up fine. The butterfly and sentiment are from Flight of the Butterfly.
Thanks for looking!!
